This visit highlighted Shenzhenโs Intelligent Operation Center, a digital command hub using AI, big data, IoT, and cloud tech for real-time, airport-wide coordination and smart decision-making.
The IOC oversees end-to-end airport operations, including flights, passengers, baggage, cargo, and ground transport. It enables predictive analytics, seamless paperless boarding via facial recognition, and AI-powered gate assignments capable of processing over 1,000 flights within minutes.
With an on-time departure rate consistently above 87% and recognition from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the center stands as a global benchmark in smart airport transformation and passenger experience innovation.
